3/18/2007 noone but me from URL @ 1:17 AM HOLIDAYS ARE OVER AS OF TOMORROW. but, honestly. it didn't even feel like as though it was the holidays =/ anyhows, MONDAY. i went to school with nish, sarah teh & kelly to do hw. we ended up at pp macs, still doing hw though. and i rmbr i laughed till my stomach and cheeks ached! haha. funny people (: there was a cute guy with a red & white striped shirt, RIGHT NISH! (: haha. TUESDAY. amalia and i went to ECP! cos we cldnt go for titodou due to some saddd complications. well, we had a lot of fun haha. met for lunch, rented the double bike & cycled. AND THEN WE WERE CHASED BY A FREAKING MONKEY! at ECP lahh! nurin was like "sarah! got monkey!" so i wanted to see, and i was like "where where!". and when i spotted it, IT STARTED RUNNING AFT OUR BIKE. damn, we both panicked and nurin started pedalling damn fast. she was like " SARAH! FASTER PEDAL! PEDAL! PEDAL! OMG ITS COMING! AHHH, SARAH PEDAL!" (haha, you can imagine). but i had lost grip of the pedal & cldnt catch it cos nurin was pedalling so fast, HAHA. okay well, i was screaming also la, not just nurin. LUCKILY at the end more ppl came and the monkey ran away. OMG EVIL MONKEY. nurin said it was almost next to her alr, and she was so scared it wld bite her. she said it had red eyes =/ GRAH, HAHA. well, we had a goooood laugh! then we sat on the breakwaters and talked for dammmmn long, and then cycled back to macs and studied chem. :D nice day ah amalia. HAHA. my butt was sore the next day. WEDNESDAY. chem spa, was pretty alright. trained for sports day, and grahh, i can feel the SEVERE drop in my stamina. that sucked. went to ps for lunch & then returned to school to wait for nish&pat who went to hq to collect the part as' uniforms. & then we left. nurin & i got DELICIOUS bubble tea! THURSDAY. went to HQ for the affirmation ceremony briefing with cherie; she kept smirking at me, TSK. and she was making me jealous, haha. the meeting was prettty lame, hah. saw the AD ppl and among them many familiar faces. its nice to go back to hq and see familiar faces. on this day, i rmbr i missed SYF a LOT. well, went home and did my homework like a goood girl (: FRIDAY. went back to hq for challenge quest. it was a long day. but it was a long happy fun day! (: so kudos. Central got 5th (!) among all the districts, cheryl got a silver medal for archery!! kathleen was just saying sth, and that very sth happened, OMG. HAHA. it was so freaky, but fated la huh (: i did paintball and tug-of-war, and the tug of war was intense man. before that there were some complications with the no4s required for tug of war, so sir aizat drove us to sunm's & nat's hs to get their uniforms, for me and adlin to wear; respectively. & during the event, adlin felt towered over by all the other pullers, haha. well, cq was a diff experience. pretty different. and also, now we all now, im a lucky kid. VERY VERY LUCKY! (: SATURDAY. went for flag day. Nish Zhiyun Esther Nicole Girija Sus & i did together. i shan't reveal some parts, but i can declare that we're much smarter than those who went to town, haha. and NICOLE LENG IS MEAN I TELL YOU. NICOLE! MEAN. and zhiyun's massages are dammn shiok! (: after that i went for Novena, met my tuition teacher, came home showered and left for ECP again. i met my tuition friend, we had an early dinner and talked on the breakwaters for around 3hrs45 mins! :D t'was a good conversation. nice day! :D -- well, as of tmr, it'd be Term 2 already. dang, SARAH! WAKE UP! i havent gotten down to studying studying yet. i've just been flipping pages so far. and MYEs are in 4 wks =/ well, i'll pull up my socks and CHARGE! :D you too aye! random: i like people who can carry off cheesy remarks well! :D andlongcarrideswithnicepeoplewhosaynicethingsandalmostmakemehyperventilate.Ahem, well, HAVE A SUPER SONIC HYDROPONICS WEEK! :D haha, i know no link la. 3/07/2007 noone but me from URL @ 11:40 PM today was muster parade, normally i wouldn't do this, but today i'm going to. walk down sarahj's life through her yrs in NCC (: PART AS- ALPHA-2004 i remember joining NCC with Rupini & - i remember our first parade, our very first interaction between 1m&1p on the 31/1 on staff merdin's bday. she made us run, & when we were playing games, there were many cheryls. (2 from ex-specs, and 2 from our pltn- last time) i didnt like spending time with my pltnmates initially & Rupini &i would pon CO Night meetings like nothing, HAHA. and one day when we went for CO night prac, a grp of us decided to go to heartland mall to take neoprints! Hehh. i remember drng vday, staff merdin rolled on the floor laughing, HAHA. i remeber i was super ill disciplined, & since im a sweaty kid i always adjusted while doing drills. i think my pltn got knocked down once or twice cos of me, HAHA. and sgt shamida was always the one who scolded me everytime i adjusted. i remember the knock-it-downs almost everywhere around the school. the particular one behind 1p where almost everyone fell out, but i didnt (: i remeber they made us kiap leaves so that we wouldn't swing our arms. i remember the interaction at ard the same place when sgt evon said she wanted an oven for ROD & sgt raihanah told us where they buried their dead (duh) hamster. i remember the story staff merdin told us. she joined NCC cos she saw a girl (later her staff) standing so still. a fly started buzzing around her face & she didn't flinch at all. that story has made a lasting impact on me. (: i rmbr drng unit camp they made us share ONE mini OREO amongst, what? 26 of us? the mini oreo went ard 2 rounds, haha. and i rmbr i threw my face doing that awful rendition of williamhung drng unit camp. and yeah, thats pretty much what i remember. PART BS- BRAVO- 2005 i remember that there were barely any interactions. we were yelled at and knocked down left right centre. our name Bravo and ncc shirts were stripped away. i remember always sprinting from the bus stop to school for morning PTs. & each time i fell in my calves were always cramped. i remember the EIGHTYs of pumpings we did drng mrng pt, & so i remember my pool of sweat, hah. i rmbr swl saying that we were dismissed over and over again. i rmbr dropping, literally dropping on the floor, when we were asked to level our bodies. i rmbr hating myself for that. i rmbr us all just sitting in the courtyard mrng pt aft mrng pt aft mrng pt, so super disappointed. i remember the countless drills, just drilldrilldrills, but i enjoyed that though. i remember how staff weili would scold and yell at us until she cried. i didnt enjoy that, hah.* then i rmbr the parade she said " you all are almost there, but not there yet" TURNING POINT. like some miracle our platoon took a BIG TURN. we were finally the part Bs. THE part Bs. to me, the feeling of unity was just taking a hold. the standard was just showing. i remeber sincerely admiring staff weili & encik maziah. herself & encik maziah always said things that hit exactly at the soft spot. it always touched me at how well they knew us, and at how much they cared. i remeber feeling that bond with them. intangible, almost perfect. i remember nurin telling encik maziah i thought she was hot in her no1. HAHA, its laughable at now. ASS AH NURIN. i remember adlin & i used to fight all the way home as to who would become part b staff, (haha, adlin you won.) and then there was also NDP padang. i remeber the conflict with the then part cs although i didnt really know there was one. i remember our first rehearsal, staff weili was so mad at us she refused to even check our uniform. i rmbs RSM De Silva farted so loudly we cld hear it across the massive courtyard, HAHA. *someone said she hated us. (someone else) i remember a parade when sth happend. both parts got knocked down. then i remember the talking with the part cs and sorting it out. then it was all :) the C130s, pompoms, "i was crazy ones, i went to the zoo. i died there, the worms came. worms? i hate worms, they drive me crazy", boxes of sweets, kfc, pizza hut, ice cream, fireworks, first exp at live firing, cheering at the army men in no1, seeing all those tankers, the beret tan lines, the nice president song, the rather long walk frm the river to the padang. i remember almost fainting & sir bernie prop me up with his pom pom, haha. the special bond formed within & with the part cs. the actual ndp day i tripped and almost fell in front of everyone. & i was in the first row, haha. i rmbr making friends with crescent- gadis and abigail. I RMBR THE GIRL THAT LIKED SURIA- NIKILLI FRM PINGYI SEC! i remember the specs coming down, and we were all OMGOMGOMGGG! i remeber staff weili called me & i was super hyper, haha. then, there was ROD. HAHA I RMBR MINDY&MANDY MOCK. IT ROCKED LAH! then there came the end. it was so, -abrupt. =/ the best yr of NCC. i remember getting SECOND for orienteering com, and staff weili was so overjoyed she cried over the phone. i remember getting overall FIRST for part bs shooting com, & coming in 5th in position. sunm 4th, adlin 6th. (and, HAHA. at the end, i rmbr i cld do supersonicstandard pumpings, and hold there for a long time:) anyth's possible mann. PART CS- CHARLIE- 2007 i remember C&C. and C&C and C&C. i remember i hated it because i couldnt visualise for nuts, but i dont know how, in the end i could. & duh, i loved it. i rmbr muster parade & what happened after. =/ i rmbr recesses and how we all just suddenly were one. that was the best part of Charlie. when the unity set it (: i remember the parade we voted for the udis. i remember CO night, and HAHA. it rocked, but i rmbr all the behind-the-scenes. i rmbr doing the stupid mayooo and gramma thing, haha. i rmbr unit camp & the bus ride back frm the treetop walk. i remeber what happened at the bball court after that. t'was shit. our first time, hah. i remeber ophir. OMG OPHIR ROCKED! :))))))) right right right pat & nat? i didnt & wont blog abt it, cos its in my diary, but WOOHOO; ROCKING. and then the thailang trip. THAI TRIP ROCKED TOO! :))))))) and i again i wont blog abt cos its in my diary, and in an older post. and there was SYF AH SYF. we were the ics now. i remeber no1!, rifles, shooting, ammunitions, oil, the lack of freaking water, the ma'ams, the sirs. i remeber pat freaking me out, i rmbr suria & sunm were my syf buddies, i rmbr gadis and abigail frm crescent were in my same row again. i rmbr the actual day, i saw encik gt in the stands, haha! my rifle fired wonderfully. i rmbr fadhilah fainted & nadzirah hyperventilated. i rmrb running like a mad woman ard & ard to find mr khoo. i rmbr the DC said she fainted cos we were too "stiff" and i rmbr him saying that he wants us for NCC day parade this yr. i rmbr him saying we were a pro unit (: i rmbr the specs came down & we were like, THERE THERE OMG! haha. i rmbr missing it like hell. i rmrb specs course. i rmbr screwing up my interview, i rmbr what certain individuals and certain sirs told me that has made a huge impact in my life. and then sch's ndp. no1 too! (: that was fine. i rmbr syikin was platoon commander! and encik gt was parade commander :D and then POP. my first time commanding the company. i rmrb rod. gah, i rmbr the day after rod, one of the shittiest days of my life. nooocommmentsss. and then the take over. i rmrb snr specs course. i rmrb being thankful i had cherie with me. i rmbr nat'l camp. i was lucky to be with kathleen, but we thorougly hated it. it would've been fun if we didn't go under NCC. i rmbr ALL the snr ranks asking us to sit easy. i rmbr my boybrigade PC knew my full name =/ i rmbr nodding off to slp with kath at the campfire, i rmbr the super shiok rooms! :)) i rmbr the disgusting thing kath kept in her drawer, haha. i rmbr camp pin. i rmbr liking my group a LOT, but not liking anyone in my grp. i rmbr all the malay girls clicked, & malay became their official language. and i rmbr every meal time i had to sit with 30 other guys cos i was the only non-malay girl. i rmbr i was DAMN jealous of suria cos she had all the nice girls in her platoon, and in her company, DAMN. but i made friends with her nice friends haha, and in the night, luckily due to complications we cld slp tog & fly in the c130 tog. i rmbr the speech that sir gave that gave me goosebumps cos it felt so right & yet wrong. i rmbr rup's icep presentation. i rmbr shooting com; shooting com rocked. and that was that. and now, we're here. 20, more united than ever. PART DS- DELTA- 2007 I'LL RMBR NOTHING BUT SMILES. :D here in my heart there's a picture of US, together forever, fading & unbroken. 3/05/2007 noone but me from URL @ 12:22 AM i hope next week rushes by; i really don't care if im lost in it, cos i need my march hols for the fresh breath of air. :D SMILES MAKE THE WORLD GO ROUND :D boy boy, don't i sound like a hippie happy gay freak? :D A reception less than warm set it off, and the sun burnt out tonight.
